Time I replace my old pack, with something old school! Been looking at the Frost River Packs. Not sure what size to get the Frost River Jr. or the Frost River Reg size. Lets hear your comments!

well ill have a look at those packs dont know what they look like . my ole fav is the 1966 pattern airbourne rucksac ! love em" and im buying the new bag that CPgear is makeing for just those spacific packs ! by far one of the best canaidian military bacpaks ever made if that is if your lucky enough to find even a frame for one ... i had 5 one time and sold them what a mistake that was !

It sure is nice gear! Kinda hard to part with $300.00 for a pack but I have been wanting one of these packs for years! Now just to convince the wife I need...lol.

yes i know the feeling ! i love new gear the anticipation to try it out . there are many things id love to have. some in time i will. the way ive always looked at it is if you want something bad enough keep trying and it will happen in time...

I agree with you, just keep trying!
I was looking at the CP Gear website and I could have them custome make a shoulder bag for day and overnight trips. I kinda like having a shoulder bag as long as it is not over loaded, easy to get into while still one your person.
The Dunbar!! Still can't believe it!!!

yep the good ole dunbar right in my back yard so to speak lol were on the royal road side our camp might be 10 min driveing from my house the brook that runs through our camp prop is called the tin kettle which runs into the dunbar ! ive been to the falls many times and from our camp the brook is say a 5 0r so min walk on foot plenty of trout and if you head over marimachi well then you also pass by my mothers house which is were i grew up like huckle berry fin ! killarney lake ... out behind that deep in a valley lies a beaver pond heaven well it was back then !!! been years since i was back there but im going on my bike for sure this summer !!! huge ridges that you can see clean up the nashwaak river those were the days lots of memorys...

forgot to say look out moms window and theres the lake straight across the road i have thrown a rock and hit the lake !

Nice place rikki! It is beautiful here in Nackawic but I have to drive approx 5 to 10 mins to get to the woods! However, once I am out there I could walk for days and never see a person, house, road well anything really!

yeah ive been in that area a few times but never much in the woods but your right theres lots maybe you know we went to some trail and saw a waterfall it was fenced to so ppl wouldnt fall over ! cant remember the name of the trail it was many years ago ! but we spent lots of time back in split rock falls on jewetts creek by kings landing we would go up fri and stay in there all weekend !!! what a spot i got lots of pics

My fav place here is the big pokiok nature park. The Pokiok stream runs through it and there is a huge pond (more like a small lake with an old dam...place is full of fish...love camping by the river edge.
