I'm just posting this as a long term idea, does anyone else ever want to get together for a kayak/canoe trip into the bush this summer/fall? all complete with fishing-foraging and learning, though we're not going to depend on the food we gather. Who's in?

Great idea! I am in, only problem I sold my canoe...lol...but more then willing to hop in with someone else. I love being on the water and have spent a lot of time in a canoe!

funny i had one to and sold it as well i guess at the time we didnt know many who had one and went out on trips much but who knows !

Also, Old Town Canoe and Kayak in Old Town Maine has a scratch and dent sale every year! The damage to the canoes and kayaks is almost un-noticable on most.
