i had 5 of these packs one time they are one of the best packs i have ever used. i wished i hadnt parted with them i wasnt thinking at the time ! but im a very determined person and its fun and rewarding restoring stuff . i really enjoy restoring stuff back to its original state and yes i definately plan on useing it alot once again ...

My God! I was in the army and my father was in the Infantry for 33 years and we both had one...lol...I will see if he still has any parts. What did you need?

I like them too, the only reason why I don't use them is I hate having to take my sleeping bag off before I can get into the main part of the bag.

well i have the frame the hardest part to find ! a few straps i need an original bag and shoulder quick release straps i plan on buying the new cpgear bag for that pack and will shift it back and forth as needed and never parting with it again lol !!!

found some exact strapping for my pack i can make two exact straps for my pack this is were my pfaff sewing machine comes in handy

Sweet...should look good when she's all done. The sewing machine would be perfect for making my wool anorak! I have to make it single layer because it is to thick for the machine. Two layer is much warmer!

well moraguy i never heard back from that guy on the pack dissapointed i am . but ill get it finished maybe not as fast as id like but i have a frameless pack as well to use and a compact one for my bike so im not out of the game ! but you know what searching hard trying this and that when you do finally get it done it really pays off with that sence of pride " hey i did it "
