 Thanks Rikki I had made a post on the axes, knives and saws board. I had said that I was going to get the gransfors Burks axe from Canadian Outdoor Equipment. Then Rikki replied and mentioned that the Fiskars small axe was a great choice and how good they were, I was looking through the Canadian Tire flyer and they were on sale for $24.00! Thanks again Rikki for putting the idea in my head, looks like I will be waiting awhile for the Gransfore Burks axe as I got the one from Canadian Tire! LOL. They are a very nice axe and I was impressed with how sharp they were. I seen the Fiskars axe sharpner so I picked on of them up as well...holy crap I can shave hair off my arm with it now! I am impressed with the axe, I had an older one from years ago that is in bad shape now. It is noticable that they changed how they were made because my old one was nothing likr this one. Second...Thanks again Rikki!!! You were mentioning that you were restoring you 64 Pattern Ruck (my brother-in-law is looking for spare parts for you) and you said that you can get parts at CP gear! I have not been in there for awhile. I stopped by today and wow! My next pack is going to be from there. You can pick each part you want, what color and there are so many extras! I got a frame and a bag...still have to get the other parts but it is a great start. I need to stop talking to you man! You making me spend money!! LOL

yeah but look at what you saved in money the other stuff was price'y for sure .
i like that stuff to just sometimes cash can be an issue and other things come up !
yeah the pack. well there battle proven and a lot of solders that are aloud to still use them do ! i put mine to the test and it never let me down and i just like the looks and nostalgia of them . i'm going to get a bag there to at cpgear but i also want the original bag and straps" and believe me ill never give up looking ! lol yeah any help would be greatly appreciated .
i'm also a person that like to return favors . and hey that's what friends are for! to help in times of need and create good memory's that can last a lifetime ..... hmmm i never saw that sharpener ill have to check that out too" yep we gotta meet and share some laughs and stories we seem to have a lot in common !!!

Sounds good man! I will fire you off a text in the AM! am currently getting ready for a trip on monday morning. I have to go to Nova Scotia for most of next week, not sure how much I will be online until I get back. My grandmother is not doing that well so we are heading there to see her. The doctors say there is a good chance she will not make it to see the new year! So you guys have to hold the fort down while I am gone!
