What do you carry when in the woods (not at a camp ground) at night?
I carry a Petzel headlamp and a small energizer flashlight (3 LED) from Canadian Tire.

LED glow stick, TIKKA headlamp, maybe a AA maglite. And a little zipper pull LED. Love LEDs.

I agree ranger, LED's are the best...everything I have is LED! I just started switching our home lighting over to LED as well.

I have had a flashlight fetish ever since leds came out. I got the mag light upgrade and thought that was the best....until I bought a smd. It goes forever on an AA battery and is zoomable if that's a word. Has a nice wide angle but when you zoom out, the little single AA light reaches right across the river. I got the flashlight version off ebay and liked it so much I just got the headlamp version
